Brentwood Borough Council will hold a pair of public hearings prior to its upcoming sessions. On August 17th, the body will hear testimony pertaining to a request by John Slater to amend the Brentwood Zoning Map. The applicant is specifically seeking to change the classification of the parcel at 201 Wainwright Avenue to the mixed-use district to facilitate the construction of a parking lot on the site of a single-family home. On August 24th, the board will review two matters. Ravish Gandhi is seeking a conditional use permit to operate an adult daycare facility in a commercial suite at 4411 Stilley Road. Comments will also be solicited on a proposed ordinance to regulate short-term rental units.
To quell the spread of the coronavirus, no more than 25 people, which includes Borough officials and the project applicants, may be physically present in Council Chambers.
