Council Initiative Designed to Honor Youth Achievements Print E-mail

Brentwood is dedicated to fostering the development of its future leaders. The Borough affirms that, in spite of the media presentation of our younger generations as entitled and apathetic, a large number of local youths are volunteering their time for the betterment of the community. In order to ensure that these contributions do not go unnoticed, Council established the Youth Exceptional Service (YES) Award. Through this program, residents between the ages of 5 and 18 will be formally recognized for selflessly providing service to others. Brentwood is proud of its long-standing reputation as a welcoming and neighborly community; this initiative will celebrate the work of our younger cohorts to keeping this legacy intact.

Do you know a student who is deserving of this prestigious honor? Please complete and return the attached application to Borough Manager George Zboyovsky via email at gzboyovsky @ brentwoodboro.com. Prior to making application, review the eligibility guidelines and selection criteria here. All submissions must be received by December 15, 2016.
