New Event Designed to Provide Opportunities for Citizens Engagement

Brentwood Borough is committed to operating openly and transparently. While our municipality has invested in technology to further this goal, we also understand the value of offering forums for direct face-to-face communication. In order to provide residents with an opportunity to informally discuss ideas and concerns, Councilman AJ Doyle will be holding a “Coffee with the Councilman” series at Crazy Mocha. Police Chief Adam Zeppuhar will additionally be hand to provide information on the new Swift Reach communication system, while Recreation Director Jim Attanucci will offer updates on summer programs. Join us at 7PM on April 20th. All participating residents will be eligible for a 10% discount! To view the event flyer, please click here.

Brentwood Becomes Multi-Year Recepient of Banner Community Honor

For the second consecutive year, Brentwood Borough has been designated as a Banner Community by the Allegheny League of Municipalities. In the four years since its inception, this program has grown dramatically, with 43 of the 130 cities, boroughs, and townships in Allegheny County now demonstrating their commitment to effective and transparent government. This honor is bestowed upon communities that adhere to the values of intergovernmental cooperation, sustainability, and citizen engagement. Brentwood has observed these tenets through activites such as sponsoring joint anti-bullying presentations with the Brentwood School District, holding Local Government Week open house events, participating in joint procurement programs through the South Hills Area Council of Governments, and posting pertinent information on this website and our associated social media accounts. The Borough is proud to be included in the attached press release from the Office of the County Executive.
