Free Movie Event Rescheduled

The Summer Movie Series will conclude on August 19th, as a rescheduled performance of "Alvin & The Chipmunks" will be shown at the Brentwood Pool. Resident are invited to bring the entire family to this free event, as our titular character and his friends Simon & Theodore head on a wacky road trip.

Rescheduled Fireworks Show to Cap Busy Saturday

Mother Nature showed her obstinate side during America’s birthday party, which forced the postponement of the annual fireworks show. The night sky will instead be illuminated with an array of colorful explosions on August 6th, as this celebrated event will serve to culminate a fun-filled, community oriented day.

The festivities begin with the 2nd Annual All-Brentwood Yard Sale. Join over 60 neighboring families in turning your clutter into cash by hosting a display on your property. Participation is painless, as vendors are not required to pay any fee or complete any registration paperwork. Or, alternatively, follow a cadre of area bargain hunters and examine a diverse assortment of wares that range from the practical to the unusual. Please remember that this is a Borough-wide event; the most spectacular savings may be tucked away on one of our lesser travelled residential streets.

The third installment of our Concert in the Park Series will take place at 7PM. Residents and guests are invited to relax at our pristine facilities and to enjoy an energetic performance. Artist details will be announced at a later date.

Grant Award Lays Foundation for Pool Renovations

The proposed enhancements to Brentwood’s community pool recently came one step closer to fruition. The Borough is excited to announce that it received the full $175,000 that was requested through the Community Infrastructure & Tourism Fund. This highly competitive grant program is made possible through fees paid by the gaming industry. Brentwood seeks to utilize this award to partially fulfill the matching requirements of a larger grant proposal that was submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development.
