Community Mourns Loss of Civic Leader Print E-mail

Brentwood Borough is saddened to announce the passing of Councilwoman Ann Schade, who died on January 19th, 2014. Mrs. Schade had served on the Borough's governing body for the past 13 years and was recently elected to a new four-year term.  She had been employed by the Brentwood School District as an administrative secretary at Elroy Elementary School for 32 years.  A pillar of the community, Mrs. Schade was not only active in local politics but was also involved in a wide array of nonprofit organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband David, whose seat she assumed on Borough Council.
