Companies Invited to Bid on Sewer Maintenance Contract Print E-mail

The Borough of Brentwood is inviting firms to submit a proposal for a one-time contract to perform certain professional services for the Borough of Brentwood involving preventative maintenance of the Sanitary Sewer System. The selected provider must have at least 5 years of experience in sewer maintenance, cleaning, and root removal.


Copies of the information relating to submitting a proposal including specific requirements, the organization of the proposal, proposal evaluation criteria, and the proposed contractual agreement are on file and open to public inspection at the office of the Borough of Brentwood, 3624 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 where the RFP Packet of said documents may be obtained upon payment of $25.00 per packet. No refunds will be made for the return of any documents.


Sealed proposals (one original, two copies, and one electronic version), must be received by the Borough no later than July 16, 2015, at 10:00 A.M and the same will be publicly opened immediately thereafter. If mailed, the proposal should be addressed to: George Zboyovsky, PE, Borough Manager and the envelope sealed and clearly marked as “2015 Sanitary Sewer Preventive Maintenance.” Any contact for additional information should be made to Vitali Alexandrov, Assistant Public Works Director, via email.

Summer Employees Needed in Brentwood Park Print E-mail


Beginning each May, Borough residents participate in a time-honored tradition by seeking out reprieve from the scorching rays of the summer sun in the crystal waters of our municipal pool. Although the Borough has contracted with a professional management company for lifeguard services, we are still accepting applications for other summer positions. Individuals age 16 or older are invited to apply for work as a pool attendant, park attendant, or concession stand operator. The positions are part time and feature flexible hours. Prospective candidates should email a completed copy of the employment application to stoth @ by March 10th. Preference will be given to Borough residents.  No handwritten applications will be accepted.

Off-Street Parking to be Discussed at Meeting Print E-mail


Brentwood Borough will hold a second meeting to discuss potential solutions to the dearth of off-street parking in the vicinity of Brentwood and Pyramid Avenues. The meeting will be held at the Brentwood Municipal Building on February 25th at 7PM.
